My name is James Burkeen. I am a native Del Rioan that  grew up fishing the waters of  Lake Amistad. 

 

Fishing trips with my father were what sparked my love of fisihing at the young age of 7. Through the years I have fished several Texas lakes and was lucky enough to fish with various professional anglers and guides.  These opportunites have made an impact on my fishing career and taught me life lessons.

 

After years of working in Customer Service, I sought out my passion for fishing and became a Licensed guide on Lake Amistad in 2007.  I strive to provide outstanding customer service and a memorable fishing experience for all of my  clients.
